Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the charming village of Borgo Carige along Italy’s picturesque Strada Pedemontana, Le Burle stands out as a delightful seafood restaurant and bar that captures the very essence of authentic Italian coastal dining. This intimate culinary gem invites you to savor fresh, vibrant flavors typical of Tuscany’s rich maritime heritage, delivering an experience that feels both genuine and warmly personal.

Le Burle’s menu is a celebration of the sea’s bounty, masterfully prepared with local ingredients and artisanal touches. Imagine delicate, succulent seafood dishes kissed by the subtle smokiness of grilled fish or the zesty embrace of fresh herbs and citrus. Complementing these are house specialties such as the perfectly crusted panini, made with local bread, paired beautifully with savory pecorino cheese and enhanced by the generous drizzles of exceptional regional olive oil and vinegar. Don’t miss the house-brewed beer, a rare find that’s garnered enthusiastic praise for its crisp, refreshing character — a perfect companion for any meal.

The atmosphere at Le Burle exudes a rustic intimacy that immediately makes you feel at home. The attentive and cheerful staff, as many delighted guests have shared, add a genuine warmth that transforms dining here into a memorable experience. The chef’s personal greeting and thoughtful gestures — like gifting traditional peperoncino peppers from his garden — reveal a passion for both the cuisine and the community. It’s this heartfelt connection, paired with the inviting ambiance, that truly elevates Le Burle beyond a simple meal.

Finish your culinary journey with their superb crumble for dessert, a sweet finale that leaves a comforting impression, making you wish the evening could linger just a bit longer. Whether you’re a local or a fortunate traveler discovering this hidden treasure, Le Burle promises an honest, flavorsome adventure that satisfies every sense.

For anyone seeking an authentic taste of Italy’s seafood tradition, paired with friendly service and an enveloping atmosphere, Le Burle is undoubtedly a destination worth savoring in Borgo Carige.

Fantastic find. The food was excellent, all locals except us, the guy brews his own beer (which was actually very good), the house wine (especially the red) was excellent, and they have a superb crumble for dessert. I need rolling out of here!!!

Delicious pasta from welcoming and friendly hosts. We had spaghetti alle vongole and the wild boar ragu, both were exceptional and the portion size very generous - just what we needed after a long day of travelling. The waiter chose us an amazing pistachio dessert to complete our meal. Definitely visit here if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

The wild boar ragu with tagliatelle was phenomenal. So much better than what we had in Rome. One in the group got spaghetti and clams and that was great also. Very friendly staff. Thanks!

We had an excellent meal and kind service with a smile… the Rombo (Turbot) fish was excellent, fresh, and it was deboned and cleaned perfectly in front of us The house white wine was also really excellent! Recommended!
